Default Everyone attack the same mob - targeting question

Hi

I've read a few posts on targeting and I want to make sure I understand something.

Let's assume a normal group with a Warrior acting as the tank.

If the warrior calls and attacks the next target with ctrl-space. If the other players in the group press 'T' then will automatically attack that same mob?

Is this correct? I hope so - because I see a lot of split dps in pugs.

if i ctrl+space and everyone else hits 't' then they will all be attacking the same foe as me.

yes IF they hit "t" or whatever button they have it set up as. the problem with pugs is that not all players know about this function or just don't care, especially if they are new to the game.

If no one else called a target they will attack the same one as you. When playing with pugs you may have more people calling a different target at the same time and when someone presses 't', he/she will see the last pinged target.

They could also just press the little bullseye next to the name of the person who called in the party window.

Yeah if you have your party window open you can click on the little target beside the name of the person who called the target and you will start attacking the same one.

But for most people C+Space is easier than T+Space

Pressing 'T' does not make you attack. It makes you target. The players will still have to continue to do an action that requires a foe for them to attack that target.

In RA, it will never work. I'm calling the monk, but then everyone goes for the Assassin that just popped up -_-.
